A World Decoded
In my earliest childhood memories, I remember a love of books and stories. I would sit transfixed as my parents read me stories and showed me pictures. This love of stories continued as I grew, but I also grew to hate reading. I would choose picture books so that the story was told through picture and not words. Eventually, I discovered I was dyslexic, which means visually, letters get all mixed up for me, making reading frustrating and discouraging. Photography has become a way for me to tell the stories in my heart and mind without being bound by the limits of the written word. Each photo I take is part of a story, each capturing a different world I can envision, this is the world decoded.
